One day, he took his 17 year old daughter (Evelyn) with him to bring new breeded horses to a noble, outside the Rift. During the trip they were attacked by vampires.
Svenjar died, Evelyn was bitten and survived.

But after a while, she got more secluded, especially when she found out that her oldest daughter was changing into something different.One day, she just took off and left the then 23 year old Evelyn and 19 year old Isabeth behind. No notes were left behind.

After a huge verbal fight, she took off, and hasn't spoken with her sister since.
