Evelyn's background
Evelyn is born in Skyrim in the town of Riften. She is the daughter of Svenjar and Larynn, and the elder sister of Isabeth. Evelyn is a Breton name.
Her childhood was peaceful with her family on a farm on the outskirts of the Rift, near the town of Riften. Her personality is very open, and has no racial hatred, even with the war going on.
Evelyn always was "missing" around the farm. Exploring is what she likes. She is a curious one, likes everyone. Going on her own to the town of Riften, which was a 15 minute walk, at a young age was not so strange.
She drove her parents crazy sometimes, just going walkabout. As she got older, she already had seen half of the Rift which made her more curious to see the world.
Her father noticed that, and at the age of 17, her father took her on a trip. Newly breeded horses needed to be delivered to Windhelm in the Eastmarch area to a Noble.
Half way on the trip they were attached by vampires. Her father did not survive, but Evelyn, whom was bitten, survived the attack.
After waking up, she found her father near a road, and the horses were scattered about. A travelling merchant found her ner her father crying over him.
He helped her and the horses travelling back to the farm, with her father's body on a horse.
From this day, her personality (and her sister's) began to change. Her sister became much toiugher to handle over time. Evelyn also began to change, but in a very different way. She became more pale. Her eyes began to change, and she felt the need for blood. At this young age, she fed on animals, but that was not enough over time.
The open personality of Evelyn never changed, even having contracted Sanguinare Vampiris, she always was nice to "mortals", helped out where she could. But there always was a dark side.
On nights, she left the house, and sneaked into riften, hopefully to find a (very) recently deceased person to feed on. This worked out for a while, until Evelyn and her Sister woke up, and found their mother missing.
No notes, no trace. She was just gone. Evelyn suspected that her mother knew about her vampirism, which could be the reason to leave everything behind, but certain she was not.
Evelyn and her sister, living alone on the farm, got into more verbal fights with each other. On one day, everything got out of hand, and her sister found out she was a vampire.
Yet another huge verbal fight about the future, or a cure, went sidways. Evelyn swore to her sister that she wants to avenge her father, thats why she refused a cure, but her sister wanted nothing to do with that or vampires in general.
The morning after, her sister left without saying goodbye. She only let a short note saying "I hope you find what you are looking for - Isabeth".
For Evelyn this was the last connection to her family that left. Now at the age of 27, she set out to find her fathers killers.
She let the remaining horses go into the wild, and set fire on the farm, leaving with a backpack with some personal items, craftbag and a horse and set into Tamriel to fulfill the promise to her father.
Evelyn now goes by the name of Evelyn Sanguis, leaving the family name behind, and go her own way.
